Meet Jean Stanziale
I began my educational teaching journey as a New York City Board of Education teacher. Here I taught children from kindergarten to sixth grade. When computers were placed in classrooms during the 1980's my love of this technology began and I started taking many inservice computer classes. I eventually returned to school to obtain a Masters of Science in Instructional Technology. I thoroughly enjoyed motivating my students by infusing the curriculum with this new technology as they began to share my infectious feeling. At present, I am a Professional Developer for the Model Schools Program at Nassau BOCES. My work consists of giving customized staff development to the school districts of Nassau County. My teaching background and technology expertise allow me to give support to teachers in helping them seemlessly integrate their curriculum with technology by applying effective classroom management and strategies addressing the New York State Standards and best classroom practices.
